Jerusalem - Day 2 (The Dead Sea)

Today was truly an incredible day. We started off the morning by going to Masada, we went to En Gedi, we floated in the dead sea, put on some dead sea mud, and then made it back to Jerusalem. We ended up eating this chicken thing in a pita for breakfast, and then went to the same place for dinner! I love the guy there because he doesn't speak any english at all, and doesn't even try to understand us. haha. Then tonight at about midnight we went to a little party that was a good time. It was just me, Clark, and then a bunch of Jewish people just having a good time chatting together and playing some game. Really great day. I'd love to post about a hundred more pictures with details and write more, but it's after 3am, and tomorrow we've got a big day, so I guess we'll have to make the blog better....on our next layover
Way too hot, so we ducked behind the walls of an ancient jewish dwelling and changed into shorts

King Herod set himself up with this place as a place to retreat too, but in case he ever really needed it, he wanted to be living in style, so he set himself up with a few palaces on top of the plateau
