Bangkok – Day 1
I learned quickly that i love Thai food! This is our good friend Art! He is pretty rad. This was are very first meal here in Thailand!
There were so many cockroaches! Pretty scary.
When I saw this chicken I was like, oh no, what is Art feeding us! But then it turned into this beautiful plate:
Another amazing meal! What i love about Thai food is that it’s like art. Look how perfectly they make each plate!
Art was busy, so he hooked us up with some sweet directions on what we should go see. He wrote out all of our instructions in English, and then gave us the names of places in Thai so we could show it to the taxi drivers.
The Grand Palace! What an amazing place. The buildings were so impressive and it was fun to experience the Thai culture.
FREE WATER!!!!!!
Having just left Japan, I was trying to get it off my mind, and then there was a Fuji sticker right on the water thing! (I love Mount Fuji!)
There were many long walls of murals like these. It was beautiful.
I love the TUK TUK! We had a sweet driver and a sweet ride!
Now that’s what I call big Buddha! This here is the reclining Buddha and I am pretty sure it’s the biggest. IT was ginormous!
These are the things Ray says when he sleep talks.
So when we went to the Yakult Swallows game we started giving everyone high-fives after the game. When I saw this line of buddhas I just wanted to run down and give them all high fives! (I resisted though)
Sometimes I think that we Americans are the only ones who still need to get with the picture.
Oh Japan! Where art thou?
After Thailand I’m going on to Taiwan!!! : D
We pretty much decided to get pictures with the flags of all our favorite countries real quick.
That’s right!!! Eurocup champs! Love ya Spain! (I still love you too Dima)
Heck ya!!! Mango!
I think the children’s story about the little tug boat probably originated in Thailand.
This place was awesome! Definitely one of the coolest places I have ever been. We had so much fun getting there and we were able to experience Bangkok at it’s fullest!
I really loved our walk over here. At first we were walking on a bicycle path that was built on the river, and then we started going through alleyways and by people’s houses. I felt like I could just walk into people’s homes as we walked past because they were entirely open.
Well Bryce…I could live here. haha
