London - Day 3

Third day in London! Gotta love this place!

Here we are on London Bridge!

This building is so cool! I have never seen anything like it!

I love beefeaters. They're incredible. Just to become one you have to serve in the military for at least 22 years, have some special award, and go through a bunch of interviews. Oh, and you have to totally hilarious so you can give great tours of the Tower of London every day.

This guy was so funny! He made fun of every country and he loved to talk about executions! It was great!

Is there anyone here from Australia???
-Yeah
Welcome Home!!

Are you here on Holiday or Parole?

He told us about all sorts of history.

<You Americans, this could have been your history if you'd have paid your taxes>

Legend is that when the Ravens leave London Tower the Tower will fall, and so will the kingdom. So they clipped their wings and put a bunch into cages. haha. You can tell they're pretty used to being around people.

This is what they torture short people on. They try and make you taller. This was the stretcher and it looks painful.

This sword is huge!! and this wasn't the only one. They had a bunch of them.

I am sure Snoop Dogg has one of these.

This dragon is made of a bunch of guns, swords, shields, etc. I imagine someone like Spencer was in charge of the displays on this floor.

Thug...

This is why I love London. This is also why I love Italy. Tower Bridge? not bad. Westminster Abbey? It's okay. The houses of Parliament, Big Ben, all the Queen's Range Rovers are pretty nice too. But this Lamborghini is probably the most beautiful thing I've seen in London.

The best deal for food is at McDonalds, so we bought 6 cheeseburgers for lunch. After that I was still hungry so I got a big mac meal. ...Yeah, we keep our days pretty packed so it takes quite a bit of energy.

This was the amazing concert we were able to go to in order to celebrate the Jubilation of the Queen. There were 17,000 people at Buckingham Palace and an additional 250,000 in the nearby streets and parks. We were at Hyde Park sitting with the YSA of London. This concert featured many artists such as Madness, Paul McCartney, and Elton John. It was a blast and i can't believe were there to enjoy it with Liz, oh I meant Queen Elizabeth.

This was an amazing experience!!!

Aren't these sweet? I want to buy some for the trees at SUU. They totally caught us off guard.

Three cheers for the Queen! Hip-Hip-Hooray! Hip-Hip-Hooray!! Hip-Hip-Hooray!!!!
